For the past 85 years Wazee Electric Company, under Colorado State Electrical license #21, has served the Rocky Mountain Region. Our area of focus is industrial work. Primarily, electric motor service and repair focusing on larger motors, up to 20,000 hp.

We also distribute new industrial motors and replacement parts. Contact our friendly and knowledgeable sales team to find your new motor or replacement part.

Our master electricians and service vehicles provide industrial wiring, control panels and a variety of field services to our contract clients. In addition, we provide full-service pick up and delivery, simplifying the process of getting your equipment serviced.

What sets us apart from others in our industry is our work with overhead cranes. Our crane technicians are leaders in repairing overhead crane motors and controls. We work seamlessly with our division, Wazee Crane, which manufactures cranes in Denver.


Our motor repair shop is located in one large building totaling 20,000 square feet. Inside there is a total of 50 tons worth of crane capacity. We have four lathes with the largest machine capable of a 48" swing. 2 VPI tanks at 6' x 6' and 9' x 11'. 2 bake ovens and one large digitally controlled burnout oven.
Our motor test stand is capable of 240VAC - 7,200 VAC and 0-600 VDC.

Our shop test equipment consists of 2 Baker Hi-Pot testing machines a D12 and a D30R.

Our core loss tester is a Lexesco 200Kva model 2200.

Our service fleet is capable of performing vibration analysis and laser shaft alignments (pictured above)Our service fleet is capable of handling large electrical jobs. We have two on staff engineers and two master electricians. Our service fleet is comprised of 15 service trucks. We specialize in power plants, aerospace, food processing, alternative energy, and manufacturing.
