This is not an accounting firm. They are bookkeepers at best. Our monthly fee was paid on time and no one ever checked the books. At the 11th hour we realized taxes were due and had to bring it to there attention. Very disappointing. Closed our business to drive across town to a tax appointment only to find out they were not ready to file our taxes returns. At the eleventh hour, days later when it was time to file, we were being asked questions about our books that should have been asked 1st quarter. Had to fight to get anything done, reviewed or prepared at the tune of over $3,000.00. Six months after the fact we found that entries were never made to balance our tax return with our balance sheet. 4 requests for these entries over a 3 week period were ignored. Lori is in over her head! Be careful. Very charming but they just need a few accounts like ours to pay the rent. State of Colorado has no record of them and they could not attend an IRS audit by State law. Beware!

I have been a client for 15 years and can say that Barb and Lori are on the cutting edge of their technology. This year’s personal planner was done on a secure site and took me about 10 minutes to compete. Knowing that Watson and Company is also conserving on the paper consumption puts them in the green zone for us. Accurate, Timely, Personable and knowing they handle all auditing issues is a HUGE peace of mind.
