I have been party to or observed a total if 4 transaction between Wasatch metal recycling and their customers. In all 4 transactions WMR employees made some sort of mistake, all in their own favor. It wasn't large errors, but they weren't large transaction. The guy in front of me caught them short changing him $10 (on a $30 deal). When it was my turn to get paid, the cashier tried to pay me for 13 lbs of copper rather than 18 lbs. It's just small amounts, but I honestly believe they intentionally and systematically CHEAT THEIR CUSTOMERS EVERY TIME THEY CAN. What disgusts me most is that Wasatch Metal Recycling is the place where most of those homeless guys take their shopping carts full of cans to recycle, and those folks are the ones least able to afford being swindled, and probably least deserve to be.
