fully remodeled in 2015 with a new professionally trained staff.good food fast with friendly service.if you don't like it it is free.

We ate at the Waffle House Restaraunt just off I-95 and US 17 at Exit 33, Yemassee, SC this morning. Poor service. Many people behind the counter. The "manager" we think was on a soapbox fussing at staff to wash dishes instead of standing around if they weren't waiting on customers. We ordered breakfast and received the waffle. I noticed no one cooking and asked about the remainder of our meal. Apparently the cooks had not heard the whole order. Our waitress brought water....no coffee as ordered until we asked for it again. We had to continue to ask for a refill. We got the remainder of our breakfast only when we asked and then they cooked it!

This is unfortunate...normally Waffle House serve customers in a fast and friendly way. We probably won't go to this Waffle House again and would suggest that anyone wanting service think twice about stopping in here. People came in while we were there and left without staying.
