We offer a range of services that include civil and structural engineering, industrial engineering, planning, studies and evaluations, and entitlement. VLMK Consulting Engineers began as a structural engineering firm providing a broad range of consulting services in the field. Today, though our services have expanded, structural engineering is still a core part of VLMK.

Our expertise in the field covers all the major construction types, including concrete, steel, wood, masonry and light gauge metal. In addition to the typical structural systems, VLMK has also provided engineering services for a number of more specialized structures, including multi-story concrete tilt-up office buildings, five-story light framed wood structures, post-tensioned concrete, and extruded plenum systems for the high tech industry. Structural inspections, seismic evaluations and reports, and seismic upgrades are also part of the structural engineering services we provide.

Utilizing current technology, and state-of-the-art techniques and software, our analysis capabilities and design experience gives us a solid basis for tackling a variety of structures. As with all our services, VLMK places a strong emphasis on providing our clients with practical designs that not only meet the project requirements, but do so in an economical and construction friendly manner.
