The Park Forest Police Department preserves peace and order, prevents and detects crime, apprehends offenders and protects residents lives and property. It maintains the Special Operations Group (SOG), which responds to critical incidents, such as barricaded subjects, high-risk warrant arrests, drug search warrants, hostage situations and domestic terrorism. The Park Forest Police Department also has the Special Tactics and Neighborhood Deployment Unit of Policing (S.T.A.N.D.U.P.), which responds to community complaints and participates in crime prevention activities by using a variety of tactics and vehicles. It is also responsible for narcotics law enforcement. In addition, the department operates patrol, investigation, K-9 and records divisions. The Park Forest Police Department is located in Park Forest, Ill.

I went there once to report my ID missing and the older women at the "help" desk,I use the term help very loosely, were very lazy and unwilling to be of any assistance. If you need help solving any issues you're S**** out of luck. Park Forest is just another community flushing their tax money on C**** service system!
