VIC'S has been gathering knowledge and expertise in the hoisting and heavy haul business since 1951.

For the total hoisting solution we can provide gantry systems equipped with our specialty designed power links with side-shift capability to load, offload and set your equipment.

We give our customers still another hoisting option, strand jacks allow for heavy lifts to higher elevations than conventional gantries, and are more suitable in confined areas than heavy lift cranes.

Our fleet of multi-axle platform transporters with self-propelled options and tractors with specialized rear steer trailer combinations enables us to accommodate a wide range of transporting needs.

VIC'S offers pre-construction services to assist owners, architects and engineers with project planning and site arrangement drawings to clarify heavy lift and heavy haul requirements early in the project feasibility studies, as well as through the design phase.

Our engineering staff provides our customers with drawings, calculations and other required documentation including engineered lift plans for our crane, gantry and strand jack lifts.

We add new equipment to our fleet each year to provide our customers with the latest advances in technology and safety. Wind Erection—VIC’S maintains a fleet of large capacity cranes and provides hoisting and rigging services for erection of wind turbines throughout the Midwest. In addition to supplying the cranes, Vic’s can also provide teams of wind turbine assembly personal. Our skilled ironworkers have the tools, experience and knowledge required to rig, erect and assemble wind turbines supplied by major turbine manufacturers.

Maintenance—VIC’S will supply labor, equipment and supervision for continued maintenance. VIC’S owns the tools for re-tension of anchor bolts; including equipment calibration certificates, documentation of tension readings, jack pressure readings and safety procedures to back it up.
