I have taken my senior animals to Dr. Kraft for over a year now. I have 4 and they all need a lot of care. I have looked for a vet I liked for a very long time. I was looking for a few things in a vet.1. Experienced, open, and honest2. Interested in Integrative Medicine3. Isn't so focused on vaccinations that they give them to senior or sick animals. 4. Takes animal pain control seriously and provides every available appropriate option.5. That I could trust to be as good as an ER in an Emergency.6. Truly compassionate thoughtful careful care Dr. Kraft has met all these and has done it well. I think many animal owners would say that having a good vet is an important piece to a happy life. I am so grateful to Dr. Kraft. So very very grateful. I could not possibly take as good of care of my animals without him, no matter how much money I had.

I find it very difficult to believe the story behind the dog that was hit by the car sunday.And for these reasons.1) they are NOT open Sundays. No ones there but the cleaning lady.2)Theyre NOT OPEN at 5am. Not even open until 7:30am.. Soo theres no way you saw your dog in " unreal pain"The doctors are not about money there. In any worse case senario, they would have sent that dog to Pac Ave in Tacoma where care for that dog would have been taken care of.

My dog was run over by a truck on a sunday morning . In our pajamas my wife and I rushed our boy to vca.First thing they told us was he looks real bad you should just put him down(just looking at him no real exam).We asked them to just give him pain killers till our vet opened monday,they said cause we had no money or credit cards on us they couldnt help him.We begged ;my wife was going to stay with him and I was going to make the 50 mile trip back to our house to get cash or credit card for them ,they still refused.After filling out a credit app.at thier office they had $500.00 to work with for about 16 hrs till our vet opened.I stopped by monday morning at 5am to check on him and saw him in unreal pain ,asked them to give him another shot and they told me they had used the whole $500.00 already (according to thier records they had only given him 2shots). I payed 35.00 for another shot an had my wife come right then an pick him up.If you love your animal dont take them here! Next t

VCA Tanglewilde Animal Hospital almost killed my dog with an improper diagnosis not once, not twice but three times! After the third visit, and the vets recommondation to go to their Tacoma office for a $600 throat culture, I looked for a second opinion. The second opinion, at Hawks Prairie Animal Hospital, came in one visit with one simple blood test. I'm happy to say my dog is doing well with the PROPER treatment he is getting at Hawks Prairie Animal Hospital. I highly recommend you consider another vet hospital than VCA Tanglewilde
