Worst customer service ever!

Came in and paid for materials, waited 20 minutes to be loaded so I began to shovel into my truck. There were no other customers and Myles came out and said to remove the materials and he was going to call the police! What a joke! I had already paid and he continued to call me names and threaten me. I was only trying to help so I could get to my job on time since he had already made me wait 20 minutes and I had already paid. He was a complete jerk. There is no way I would ever come back here again and it is the closest to my landscape jobs. Do not support this business!!

The only reason I chose one star is because there was not a choice for no stars. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Rented a lift for the hired painter to use and the lift did not hold a charge. This meant the guy on the clock could not perform, he is charging for time loss. when we called V.E.R., they said they don't know what could be wrong with it, we will come and look after hours. How does that solve my problem right now??? it doesn't. These guys don't care about you the customer, they are short handed and they leave you hanging with their junk equipment. RUN to a different rental company, there are many others who do a much better job with much better equipment!!! These guys have no values or business ethics!!! Read the filtered reviews, I should have before I did business with these scoundrels!

Every time I have been to the Grants Pass yard, there are new people working there. Several times employees have told me that the boss is a total hothead. One time I could hear him screaming into the phone at an employee. They rented me a tractor and trailer which I used for 7 hours. When I returned it ' they told me that the meter showed 9.5 hours and thus charged me another $50. I know for a fact that I used it from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, because I kept track of my time to bill my customer. The tractor had problems with the 3 point attachment twice that day, so there is no possible way that I used it as long as they claim.The trailer had bald tires with cords showing. The whole store has an unwelcoming feel to it, with unfriendly service and a general bad attitude. The high turnover of employees underscores my perception of a bad environment. The other rental yard in Grants Pass will rent you a tractor for 24 hours and not stack extra charges on you as long as you fuel it up. One star is too generous for this horribly run operation!

Grumpy Guy

I've known this guy for years. Zero customer service. Only thinks of himself. Rude. Will take advantage of you if he can. Avoid him if you can.

Warning Warning Watch out for this Guy. He is more than just grumpy and rude.

He will charge your credit card after the fact for "damages" that may only be visible to him. I have been renting equipment for constuction for 20 years and have never encountered damage charges for minor scratches to industrial equipment. After checking in the equipment and saying everything was fine, a charge shows up on my credit card bill 6 weeks later. When I attemped to ask what the damage was, he said I scratch the handle on the industrial hammer drill. I don't know about you, but I'm just not sure that warrants the replacement of the entire handle. I think he was "punishing" me for showing up right at closing time to return my equipment and making him stay 5mins later than he wanted.

Lazy, Rude, Zero communication

I dropped off my old, junky lawn mower on a Tuesday to be repaired to which the guy said it would be ready "next week", I called on Friday of the next week to wait ten minutes on the phone for the guy to find it, and then he told me about another week. I called on Wednesday of the next week to find out it was ready. Never once did they call me to let me know anything. The repairs and service totaled $97.00 which was more than the mower was worth. After paying, I calmly told the guy that I would have appreciated a call and that the lawn mower was not even worth as much as the repairs. He frowned and pointed to his labor fees, screamed, "Sixty-five bucks an hour!" I then told him I would not be back and he called me a, "cheap as#*h#$e!" He then met me outside to give me my lawnmower screaming that same phrase over and over again. He said, " you want your lawnmower, then come and get it and get out of here you cheap as*h#!e."
