A great place to shop! by Sammy1 - 10/31/2007It is an absolute delight to shop at Uwajimaya! Excellent Deli and some very unusual choices, to delight all tastes!
A treasure house of Asian foods by topper - 10/23/2007This is such a great store to wander through, marveling at the range of produce, meats, fish and prepared foods that are so beautifully displayed. There are so many that I don't recognize and I would appreciate some guidance on recipes in which to use them. I especially love the home wares department which is a good source of unusual gifts.
Uwajimaya by jeri - 09/06/2007This as an awesome store! Just walking up and down the isles is an educational experience in its self. There is a huge selection of Asian foods, a large fresh and live fish counter. Plan to spend a couple of hours your first time as there are so many interesting things to look at. You will find a large selection of unusual fresh vegetables and a great little deli. You can eat there or take out - I suggest the duck.
