Be careful where you get your animals fixed! by a.l.s - 11/16/2009I took my two cats (male and female) to the clinic to get spayed and neutered because the prices were much cheaper compared to an ordinary vet but that was a big mistake... The female handled the surgery fine but my other kitty got a bacteria and got really sick. His leg and face swelled up a lot so I had to take him to Pet Urgent Care. He ended up dying from the bacteria. One of the workers at Pet Urgent Care said they get work from the clinic sometimes that they have to fix because they are overloaded with work and they arent as careful as they should be. So make sure you know what the possibilities are when you go to a cheap clinic and decide if it is really worth it. I ended up spending over $600 and my cat still didnt make it and it was all because of a simple neutering job.
