Lacks customer courtesy... I went there to return a package to the original sender. I had asked the UPS store to return the package per the return slip inside the box (the box was opened). They addressed it to the shipper's (manufacturer's) address on the outside of the box and I didn't catch it at the time. Two month's later I noticed my credit card wasn't credited for the merchandise I returned. I called the website I ordered it from and they had no record that it was returned. I then started a search for the tracking number which I found a few days later. I checked the tracking and it said it was refused by the addressee (now I realized where it was shipped to), so it was then returned to the "sender" and signed by someone other than myself. My issue is that UPS stores note themselves as the "sender" (unlike USPS mailing labels) and when it arrived there, they never bothered to call and let me know it was there until I checked on it almost 2 months later (my address and phone # was on the tracking info). What were they planning on doing with it?... keeping it after a period of time as "unclaimed merchandise"? I called the store and they returned my call the next day and told me that they never call customers when packages are returned. The clerk at the store told me that someone should've definitely called me. Anyhow, after numerous phone calls and another trip to the UPS store, I finally got my package back. However, I will be resending this and all future packages via USPS!... at least they understand the definition of "sender".
