We recieved great service. I felt everything was handled very efficiently and quickly. I feel my daughter`s pocessions are secure and easy to get to when needed. You have excellant employees!

We rented the largest U-Haul truck they had to move our 3 bedrom home from Omaha to Blair. Immediately, we saw problems. The check brakes light kept coming on and an alarm bell kept dinging at us the whole time we drove it. We asked them about it and even stopped in (wasting miles) to have them check it and got the "Don't worry about it" response. Also, we were quoted a rate of 65 cents a mile and were charged for 69 cents a mile. Once we realized this, I was told I needed to speak to Jim, the manager who quoted this rate to me, and he was already gone for the day. Then I was told he wouldn't be in the next day due to a manager's meeting. Now I have to wait another day to get this resolved. Too many hassles.

I am about to again rent a large trailer, this time to move a piano and bedroom set from Omaha to Davenport, Iowa. Ignoring my ego, simply posting this should be testimony enough about this U-Haul location. FWIW - The five-star rating is done ignoring that, last time, I had to add a "zillion" pounds of air to each of four tires in 5-below weather outside my garage in Elkhorn before taking off for Ames, Iowa. I don't expect that to be necessary a second time. Nice, central-to-west Omaha location that's almost easy to get to and worth it. -JR

I have been using a 10 by 10 insulated non-climate control building for a number of months. It's clean and I'm impressed with the security measures. You have to go in and present your driver's license, which they hold while you borrow a key to one of two locks on the door. The other lock is one you supply yourself. Unauthorized access is highly unlikely. You have to go during business hours, but that's a trade-off I don't mind making. Cost is competitive. Staff is courteous; two ladies who work there are downright delightful.
