After a series of unfortunate events - car accident, lost keys etc...

I called Bobs Lock and Cycle on 9-9-09. . .Bob was not very friendly from the start, he quoted me a high price. When I asked him if he could match a competetor price he refused. Anyone who is familiar with this line of work knows that a locksmiths prices are flexible. ...a few hours later, my husband (unaware that I had already spoken with Bob), called Bob and asked if he could lower the price by $5...we had the lock and were going to take it in, the lock had the numbers to make replacing the key easier, and when my husband asked if he would do it for $20, he responded "well how about $40"...

This man is very rude and has no grasp of good customer service. I called him, appalled by what had transpired, and I told him that I would be writing this review...he began to make racist comments and told me that this was not "MEXICO" and that "WE" do not barter prices here. Not only is the man rude, and inconsiderate, he is racist and confused about the meaning of the word barter. Please do not give this man your business, there are many other upstanding alternatives.
