Tyee Marina is located on the north side of Commencement Bay across from Tacoma, just east of Browns Point. The marina offers low moorage rates and protected moorage for power and sailboats up to 60 feet. Protected on all sides, Tyee Marina is behind a massive floating breakwater and moorage is safe in all weather. The marina is adjacent to open water and is ideal for sailboats, no channels to motor down, no bridges to wait for, and the cleanest water and air in Commencement Bay. The north shore has few storm drains and no industrial activity or railroad to cast diesel fumes over boats. The marina has 2 pump out stations that are well maintained and free. Security staff live on-site; and access to the docks and parking lot is by coded entry only. A full-time maintenance crew keeps all services operational.
