They only got one star because I had to initiate the evaluation. I moved in from out of town. I explained before leasing that I was quiet and preferred a quieter setting b/c I work shift work. The agent just nodded. The 2nd night in, the loudest noise imaginable woke me at 2:30am. I called and left a message for the agents. Over the following weeks the noise was thunderous, ball bouncing in the bedroom, jumping, running, tumbling, etc come to find out there were 5 people staying there on a FULLTIME basis with two pre-teen boys on weekends. I finally figured out that the kids were in the master suite. Management invoked a 10p-6a silence requirement, which is the law here for disturbing the peace. Later I was told that two additional adults had moved in. I spoke with the neighbors themselves about the noise level and while both parents were polite, they did not have sustaining power to control the noise level in the master bedroom, except the legal requirement. Management became very curt and nasty, ie: did not return my calls about anything. When I would go into the office they were minimally polite but never responded to my repeated requests for a free move elsewhere. They hid behind the excuse that they use on stupid people: “nobody can guarantee a quiet neighbor...” Ha! I finally saved up and asked to be let out of my lease without penalties and the same agent agreed. I will not know until my move is complete. But I asked a different agent for and exit “walk through” and she refused. So at move out I will have to take documented pictures. I have owned and rented for over 40 years. My parents were small landlords. I have never had such a disappointing and unproductive experience ever. I do not recommend this complex for anyone who expects professionalism and trustworthy staff.
