Located in the heart of Laramie, Wyoming, Turtle Rock Coffee, etc. invites you to join us in our unique and relaxing atmosphere. Turtle Rock is a family owned and operated business. Turtle Rock opened its doors for business in March 2005. Owners and operators, Andy & Angela Faxon, along with their kids, remodeled the former dentist office from top to bottom, inside and out. Photos can be seen here. A coffee house was a new venture for us as we had remodeled houses as a side hobby. When the building came up for sale and opportunity came knocking on our door, we thought “wow, this would make a great location for a coffee house!” With the skills we had developed from previous remodels we set to work. A face lift was in store for the building which was built in 1966, with new walls, wiring, plumbing, flooring, lighting, etc. The most eye-catching change is the slate flooring which is inlaid with hickory and etched turtles as is the fireplace and front counter face.

During the warmer weather customers enjoy our covered patio with a slate look floor also etched with turtles as well as vines, dragonflies and lizards. We have spent many hours landscaping the patio and around the building, this past September (2006) we were much honored to receive Laramie’s Beautification Award.
