My father passed away 2 years ago in June. They were wonderful. Their service was hassel-free. There are no words for how thankful my sister and I were and are for the help and guidance they gave us while trying to deal with the death of a parent. Highly recommend them!

This funeral home should be closed by some authority. They have had major violations amounting to $20,000, and the owner Tom McKee has violations against his license. Check out the Washington State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors in Olympia, WA. The funeral home is run by an apprentice who doesn't know his left from his right. Their so call $595.00 cremation is another way of getting you in the door, only to find out they do very little for the family. If you ask for some assistance with additional matters they add it to the bottom line. Stay away from this place, it will only add to your grief.

This was an experience I wouldn't wish on my worst ememy. To begin with the funeral home has a terrible smell, like something is going or has gone bad; It is nothing like they describe on their website. The owner of the funeral home has had numerous violations from the licensing agency in Olympia, WA., our family was told this from another individual who did research on local funeral homes. We were met by an individual name Jeff, who we later found out was nothing more than an apprentice and wasn't in the business very long. We selected the so called $595.00 cremation which included nothing. When we asked about VA benefits, Jeff said it wasn't included in the price, nor was obtaining death certificates from the health department. They also wouldn't put an obituary in the Tacoma News Tribune as it would cost more for them to place it in the paper. The $595.00 cremation is a scam to get you in the door. STAY AWAY FROM TUELL-MC KEE FUNERAL HOME.

We contacted Tuell-McKee and discovered that the owner didn't have time to care for us. Instead an apprentice named Jeff met with us. His arrogant attitude was enough for us to move on. Also this funeral home has several violations from the board that licenses funeral directors. Check with the licensing board in Olympia, or on their web site. This place should be closed.

I couldn't believe the service we wererendered from Tuell-McKee Funeral Home. To begin with the funeral home is a "DUMP". It needs a total overhaul, it stinks, it looks dirty, and the toliet comes off the floor in the mens room. The individual who "served" our family is a young punk, who doesn't have a full license instead he is an apprentice. The owner of the funeral home walks around wearing a cheap sweater, and we also found out that the funeral home, as well as the owner has some big violations which can be found on a web site from the Washington state embalmers and funeral directors board. Another thing we found out is that the so called lower price cremation doesn't include anything except the basic service. They will not get your certififed copies of death, nor will they send in an obituary to the newspaper, nor will they help with VA assistance. The VA assistance did surprise me, as this funeral home claims to serve veterans. Don't call this funeral home.

This funeral home is a mess. To begin with it is old and smells as bad as it looks. The individual who met with us, we later discovered is an apprentice learning on our expense. The owner of the funeral home, Tom McKee has violations with the board that licenses funeral directors. Do your family and loved one justice, and do not call this funeral home for any of your needs.

When we called around to find out about price, we found them to be one of the most affordable choices. We decided to go with them because of the kind and professional way we were treated on the phone, and them not seeming like they were doing us a favor, but that they were here to serve us, and help us through this experience. I was suprised to talk to a staff member, considering we called at 11pm, just after Dad passed away. I had no idea where to begin as far as the legal paperwork required to complete the cremation of my father, but Tom, the OWNER, personally met with us and took the time to explain everything and answer all of our questions (we had a LOT of them), before proceeding with everything. I didn't know this kind of personal service still existed today. Our experience was totally outstanding and Tom allowed us to do what we needed to do, which was focus on our family and remembering Dad.
