1 Serious Bed Bugs by Eaten In Trinidad - 08/29/2011

Some friends of mine and I stayed here for the Blues Fest. One of our party members woke up in the middle of the night, feeling a bite. He turned on the lights, and bugs were literally crawling up the headboard. It was around 12am, he went to the front desk. It took them 20 minutes to get the owner. He went to see the problem. He had a black light that didn't work, but my friend informed him he didn't need it, the bugs were in plain sight..The owner told my friend he was a mean man, he would get his money back and then go away. My friend advised the owner he was with his sister and the rest of us, and didn't have transportation. anyway he got another room, but was told to keep his mouth shut about the bugs. Next morning we all confronted the owner, he gave Frank his money back with great hesitation. Anyway long story short, When I got home i had bites all over my body, at least 50.

1 Horrible Place for family by Vacation - 08/14/2011

Car trouble landed us here because this is where the tow truck driver dropped us off. Over priced room and everything in the room was in need of repair. The pool was completely empty and the breakfast was a joke. The cleaning lady was trying to find milk and used her hands without gloves to dig in the ice chest. The fridge was supposed to have milk, eggs, etc for guest, but instead had personal food from the hotel staff. We asked for two additional towels and never received them. When we were checking out the police were talking with the owner because people where drinking in the two rooms next to us and vandalized the room. The owner never asked us if we enjoyed our stay and the stay was less than friendly. Needless to say we left this hotel and ended up at the Holiday Inn. Our advice is never stay at this hotel.

Trinidad Motor Inn has had a bad reputation in the last year. I would like to announce that we are under manangement as of May 24, 2011.Our mananger is currently updating all rooms and outside remodeling. He is doing the best he can to fit all customers needs. We sincerly apologize for any inconvience. And look forward to a successful future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 Had to come to Trinidad to put a family member to rest by Phillips - 02/17/2011

My family had to come to Trinidad because one of our family members was murdered. We stayed our first two days at the LaQunita Inn. They were very rude. So then we went to the Trinidad Motor Inn. The service was great. The workers were very cairing and help full. The rooms were much cleaner then the other one. All in All the Motel was wonderful. I don't know about some of the reviews but if they "Knew" about the drugs they must have been doing them themselves. There were no "drunked" people around. Our stay was very good for what we had to come here for. Thank You Trinidad Moter Inn for being there for our family is such a time of need. I hope your busness much sucssfulness. Keep up the good work. You realy helped us through a really hard time.

1 drug infested by someone that knows - 09/09/2010

Trinidad motor inn is for drunks and drugs dealers not a place to take your family.....its got lots of men working from out of town, and every night walking around drunk! what a drug nest.

2 Recent visit to Trinidad by Rnsbreeze - 05/28/2010

I recently went to Trinidad for pleasure to see some old friends and catch up. I checked into the TMI and was pretty dissapointed from the first moment till the last. They are in the middle of renovations and probably should have closed the place to complete them. Their restaurant was closed, so was the lounge. The management said that I could bring my own liquor into the lounge and play pool for free, but when I got there the table was occupied with a couple of drunks so I left. The room was partially finished and needed some work done to it before it should have been rented out. While taking a shower, the trim ring from the overhead light, that was missing, fell. While they had plenty of towels there was no soap in the bath anywhere. Luckily I had planned to do some camping and had my own soap. I feel that the $53.00 I was charged for the room was in excess of the services rendered and would not suggest staying there until they finish all the work.
