Unfair Business Practices~
by Tri-State Security is a Fraud! , 06/22/2013
My son, Adam, worked for Tri State Security since Mar 13, 2013. In that time he never missed a day of work and worked extra shifts for people and extra hours when others got off early. He was back home in Pierre for a few days and returning to Sioux Falls to go back to work when he had car trouble on Thurs.. Not just trouble but his engine seized and transmission blew. It took him a day s to purchase a new vehicle. He kept in touch with Scott, keeping him updated. When Adam went to apply for a loan on Friday, the bank asked for his paycheck stub. He called the owner and asked for it. Mitch's response was it wasn't his problem, he wasn't in the office and if Adam wasn't back by 2pm on Sat, he was fired. Mitch then hung up on Adam. Luckily Adam still got the loan and was able to get the car on Sat and head back to Sioux Falls, but not in time to get to work, but then he was told his shift was covered anyway. He is now fired and did receive his paycheck, which was short on hours AGAIN. Almost every paycheck he has been shorted on hours and had to fight to get the correct amount. When I talked to Mitch, all he could say was, "Whatever" Adam didn't keep in contact with us and it wasn't his problem...so whatever. This is a very poor way to run a business, in my opinion! A hard working young kid and he was told he should be able to get a loan quicker than that...that HE, Mitch, could walk in and get a loan just like that...but then a 50 year old business man verses a 19 year old college kid does have a better chance. I think getting a loan in a few hours for Adam was a miracle! Most have to wait days!! I am very proud of my son and his work ethics and sad to see he had to work with such an unprofessional company! I hope others see this and do not work for this company...or better yet, don't hire them with their unfair labor practices!
