Enjoyable by H - 05/11/2009We have eaten there a few times and have just stopped by for drinks and appetizers. The food is very good and have always had great service. It does get busy on the weekends and can be a little loud close to the bar and piano. If I had the problems others stated I would have asked to be reseated. I used a coupon with the kids and we all had a wonderful time. Steaks are very good and so are the martinis.
This explains why they have to hand out coupons by Jenna1 - 06/26/2008I recieved a $20.00 off any dinner coupon on my door for Trappers. We wanted to go somewhere nice so we decided to try Trappers. BAD IDEA. We arrived there at 8 pm, which they say you dont need a reservation. It wasnt too busy in there so we were seated right away. We were seated in a nice booth with a few other people around. The bus boy came to our table and offered us water and bread and of course we accepted. Well I wasnt expecting this to be the ONLY service we got. We sat there for 35-40 minutes as we watched the other wait staff help the FEW other tables around us. We were ignored the entire time!! No one even came over to say they would be a few minutes. NOTHING. Not even a glance. So we decided to get out of there and never look back and of course leave the $20.00 coupon there (we wont be needing it... ever!). I will never refer this place to anyone!! Guess this goes to show why they are handing out coupons and are in desperate need of customers. Do not waste your time.
Loud & Overpriced by LCB - 11/16/2007We ate there on October 17 for our 15th anniversary and we arranged babysitting for the first time for our 6th month old. After we ordered drinks and an appetizer, four people sat themselves directly in front of our booth. After we ordered dinner, the table in front of us was joined by six others to talk loud (with four letter words) and drink. They only ordered a few appetizers between the three tables. None-the-less, it was extremely dissappointing for us. We went home in record-time, noting that the next date out will be back to our favorite spot in Parker, Cafe Monet, were the service is great and the atmosphere is quiet.
Perfect Date Night by CW - 10/31/2007If you haven't been to Trappers yet, you are definitely missing out. Not only is the environment perfect for Colorado - lodge like and cozy, but the service is superb. The lava rock meals are their signature, it's like fondue but with a 500 degree rock. It's wonderful to have a 5 star meal and then only need to drive 5 minutes home.
A five star place in a one horse town by EW - 10/31/2007Incredible food, amazing service, soothing atmosphere. You don't do "dinner and a movie" here. Dinner IS the experience. Dinner is THE purpose.
Stop. Relax. Dine. You'll return home...smiling with satisfaction all the way.

Best restaurant in Parker, CO! by golfer - 10/02/2007Trappers, with its vantage point on the top floor of the Holiday Inn Select, offers the best views along with the best food in town! There is a unique "grilling" option here with a volcanic rock heated to an extremely high temperature that allows the patrons to cook there meat selections to their own personal liking. You also get your choices of unique dipping sauces. Check it out if you like great food in a very classy atmosphere!
