I was put through the ringer by this company. Now that I have done my own research I found that pretty much everything they did was wrong. In a nutshell, I had them put in a pond in my courtyard and it was pretty and sounded nice. About a year later my water got cloudy and fish started dying. I called the owner Holly and she told me that I was supposed to put chemicals in every week and made me feel like I was to blame for my fish dying. Fast forward and all fish died, after using all the chemicals she sold me. I started doing my own research. The gravel that Tranquility Ponds put in the bottom became toxic and rancid and that is what killed my fish and made my water cloudy. I read online that it is a complete no no to put gravel on the bottom of a pond on many websites. It was a huge job ripping out all of the gravel and garbage and piping that they put in and now that I removed it, my water is fine and I have had a nice pond ever since and no dead fish. It was a tough lesson. Also, there was a sticker on the pump they installed that said 13A, which means 13 amps. My research divulged that for about 1.5 amps I could do the same job but the pump did cost more for an efficient pond pump. The 13 amp one was costing me something like $40 per month more to operate but it is really inexpensive to buy which is why I got that one with my deal. You would think that after spending over $4500 on a small pond that they would treat people better. Oh well, lesson learned. I wish I would have done more research before I hired this company.
More than disappointed

I had tranquility ponds build me a pond in my courtyard a year ago and I pretty much let them do the job without watching over them. What they created is a heap of junk. The pond exterior before they put in the rocks and boulders is about what they said they were making, but after putting in all of the rocks, the pond was about half the size we discussed. What I got finished product is half the size of a short coffin (in water volume). They sold me 6 koi in the deal and a filter and the filter is impossible to get the lid off because the pipes to the lid are rigid. There is a light bulb on the bottom of the filter and it is leaking water out of the bulb area. I called them and I was told that there is no warranty on the filter but I can buy another one for $350. I asked them to come out and show me how to clean the filter without having to cut the pipes to the thing and I was told I would have to pay them $149.00 to come out for a "consultation appointment". My water is brown and my algae is out of control. The owner Holly told me that is because I am not using chemicals. My fish are now grown to a size where they are lethargic and just lay on the bottom because they don't have a fun place to swim. The whole experience with this company has been very bad.

worst customer service in the world. never show up on scheduled appointment's with no call backs. how they stay in business is beyond me. any decent review must have been written by owner trying to make themselves look good. shouldn't have even given them 1 star. :(

TRANQUILITY POOL has an awesome staff ,DANIEL of their Eastern office in Las Vegas. He got a Great Customer Service! Very Friendly! Knowledgeable w/ their line of products. Can' t find a good person like him at this day and age.Eunice 3/30/2012

GREAT SERVICE! VERY FRIENDLY! They were perfectly on time when they built my pond. They were VERY reasonable on their prices! I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family!

I truly can say ive had a lot of bad experiences w companies here in the Las Vegas area but Tranquility Ponds hires an awesome staff who are very professional and experienced! One of the rare companies who stand behind their work and products.

Filter & pump for my waterfall are broken within first month of installation. No one will call me back from this company. My contractor from the job can't even get a return phone call from these people!! Unacceptable!!

Sold defective product, cannot reach anyone from this company for exchange or refund information. Bad customer service...have left 6 messages with no return phone call.

Terrible customer service!! IT is astounding that this business is still operating! The owner of Tranquility Ponds is dishonest, rude, and unethical. Tranquility Ponds sells defective products and will give you the runaround while taking your money!! Buy online Buy out of state DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!!

we put in a very expensive water feature in our yard and the filter went out. My husband had to go to the shop 4 different times because he couldn't get anyone to call him back. On the 4th time to exchange the pump he was given a rusty, obviously used and obviously broken pump. OUr new yard is 2 months old but we haven't been able to enjoy our waterfall in 6 weeks because of the poor customer service and shady business practices of Tranquility Ponds.
