I enjoyed a wonderful experience with this tree service. I called for a quote well into Spring and they were able to fit my job in quickly! Dan came out and gave a very comprehensive quote, what put me at ease was that he explained why one tree had to be trimmed and another had to be removed. That made all the difference. On the day the work was performed, the crew arrived right on time. When they left, the yard was free of branches and debris and all the other little stuff that would have prevented me from cutting the grass safely. I will definitely use this service again and now that I've read some review, they will be the company that plants my new trees too!

Buyer Beware

They overpromise and under-deliver. I don’t recommend this company! I recommend avoiding this company. The company pulled a bait and switch on me. I agreed to pay for a day of service. They told me the trees they could do in that day. At the end of the day, the crews were not done with the work promised.

At the end of the day they left 6 trees partially done and 1 tree still standing. There were three trees lying down and not stump ground along with several huge piles of branches lying on the lawn. Three additional trees were ‘topped’ and trimmed, but their trunks were still standing along with their piles of branches and one tree marked for removal was still completely standing with no work started. I was not home at the end of the day but my wife was. The owner of the company told her that he wanted an additional $500 to finish the job they started under threat that they would leave the mess and piles where they laid. After threats to contact the Better Business Bureau and right reviews on various online sites, he agreed to return the next day.



That next day, the owner returned with his wife and one member of his crew. They cleaned up about half of the piles of branches and dropped one of the three remaining ‘trunks’ still standing. His wife then handed me another statement of work for the additional trees and told me that I had to sign that and agree to pay additional money if I wanted the rest of the branches cleaned up, the last two trees dropped and the remaining stumps ground. At that point I reiterated the expectations of the job and our verbal agreement and followed up with the reminder that I would be writing these reviews as well as contacting the BBB. The owner said that he “worked hard and deserved the extra money”. I told him that I felt scammed and that it was not my responsibility that he and his foreman over promised what could be delivered. He informed me that he was a “good Christian” and I should take his word that they put their time in. After a heated exchange I restated my expectations. He left the property with two trees still standing, two large piles of brush (what turned out to be four over flowing 5ft x 8ft trailer loads), one tree still untouched and four stumps sticking out of the ground.

I had topples plant about 30 trees around my log home in genoa city, all grew HUGE and surround the property. I have used them for cutting down and cutting back trees and recently used them again for firewood for my new home and found they have the best prices and best wood for that also that fits in my small wood burning insert!!!!! So if you need a tree, need a tree gone, or need a tree trimmed or need wood CALL THEM FIRST!!!!!
