They go out of their way to provide poor customer service. They tell you to book appointments for oil changes on line, then deny any appointments for after 4 PM. The policy is to reserve that time for walk-ins. But if you walk in during final 3 hours of day, they refuse service and tell you to make appointment. Reason? They say only 1 or 2 technicians on site to work. Can someone in management or in charge of franchise investigate this site? All they do is waste customer time having us jump thru hoops....to get an oil change!!! Yelp, Google and other review sites have many complaints against N Duke location for fraudulent repair claims, defective work, excessive prices charged and attempts to dupe/scare female customers into paying for unnecessary work.

Come to think of it, maybe that's why they make it nearly impossible to book oil change appointments there....making much more money by scamming customers getting inspections & repair work done!!!

Very dissatisfied with the service I received. The personnel managing should read their mission statement again. Hassle free sounds nice but far from the truth. I had them align my 2000 Mercedes and my brand new tires didn't last a year. I took it back and bought new tires again had them realign my car. This time the tires weren't on my car three months before wire was showing on both front tires. I took it back and asked what we're their plans to rectify the problem, their response idiotic as this sounds: "I'll give you a free alignment". I've had to purchase three sets within a year and three months because of their incompetence. I wouldn't recommend them to change a bike tire. There is no consideration for the customer or any accountability for their mistakes. I have no faith in their integrity because they have none. It's services like this that gives the automotive industry a bad name. Shame on you Mr.Tire for employing obtuse personnel.

DISHONEST and NOT TRUSTWORTHY. I had been a customer of the N. Duke Street Store in Durham for over 8 years. When Rhonda worked there and family owned. Since then it changed owners and staff. Prior to the ownership change, their work was spot on, honest, good price and reliable. Since then, I had take my wifes car in for an alighnment. I said i would be back later. I went across the street for something to eat. I watched them as they balanced the tires and never performed the alignment and said they did. I then only brought it in there for oil changes and inspections. I recently took my Daughter's car in for hesitation in the morning. My wife and i left. At about 4:30, I called and asked what the status was since no one called me. The response was it is a differential problem or transmission, we dont do those here. So I went down to get my daughters car. It was parked down in the back where she had left it when i came in. My daughter noticed that the seat was also all the way up where she left it which would force someone to move it. When i asked did they find anything, any computer information or anything. I was told, no, the mechanic left for the day, said they couldnt help me. I then took the car to another shop where it turned out to be a $100 part and problem resolved. What a shame, they will not be getting anymore of my business. They lost a good customer.
