I was recommended Timbercreek by my neighbor who's husband was there for years.She was there from 7am to 7pm and tended his every need.Feeding him.Changing him and bathing him.So I really Wasnt sure how things would go with Mom.I went there and found the director pleasant.She assured me Mom would be safe there.She has Alzheimer's.I was recommended for Mom to go to a place with a memory unit but Lisa McCoy told me it would be better for her here as she would have more room to roam.Here is what happened to my Mother while in their care.She was left to sit,lie,or crawl on their dirty floors of she became combative.She had one shower.She was switched on and off meds before they even had time to work.One nurse,after one week, told my brother "Your Mom is refusing to eat or drink...she won't last long." And the final thing...she fell and broke her hip.I call to ask what happened.Her nurse who was barely understandable because she had such a strong Asian accent, told me we found her on the floor.Housekeeping staff heard someone fall.She has been in the hospital two days.On the day she got her partial hip replacement...two days after Timbercreek billed my Father 8,900 dollars.She was there for two weeks.But they billed him through March.My Dad has been through enough.And to slap him in the face by billing him for two months when his wife is in pain from their negligence is just reprehensible! Lisa McCoy assured me public aid would be billed for her care.Please please don't send your family members here.They would be better off at a homeless shelter or maybe the Zoo.
