Through The Years Day Care with Pre-school included has served the Omaha Metro area for 15 years for your 6 weeks to 12 year old children.

We strive to provide a safe, loving and caring environment for each child entrusted to us. It is our philosophy to create a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, which will encourage the development of your child's intellectual, language, physical and social skills. We work toward helping your child achieve a positive self-image as well as, self-control, personal hygiene and independence.

Through The Years Child Care & Learning Center's "open door" policy encourages you to visit the center at any time. As the parent we are always willing and ready to involve you wherever and whenever possible.

We have part-time available and also offer vacation to our parents.


Our 3 year olds do a field trip once a month from March through October to various places – a few of which are Chuck E. Cheese, Henry Doorly Zoo and Vala’s Pumpkin Patch.

Our 4 year olds also do a field trip once a month from April through November. Some of the fun places they will go are Skate Daze, the Henry Doorly Zoo and Vala’s Pumpkin Patch. We also do swimming lessons with the 4 year olds once a week for 8 weeks starting in February and ending in April. The 4 year olds also will learn how to read using Hooked on Phonics. We work with Kids Squad, too.

We have center wide holiday parties for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween which include games and snacks.

We have summer programs for school age children during which we do field trips 2 days per week and join a reading program at the Swanson Library where we go each Friday. We also do swimming lessons through the City of Omaha Pools. We try to say very active by going on morning walks and do a lot of hiking on our field trips.

At Through The Years we want your child to feel safe, happy and to have fun. We also prepare all of our own meals and we do accept Title XX.
