if this shop has anything going for it, I would definitely say it is their service. The employees here know both the extended economics of jewelry as well as the science of gemology. They have a high degree of honesty and integrity and will be completely up-front with you as a customer. They do not necessarily promise the lowest prices -- and you may very well find lower prices at a franchise/chain-store. But what they do guarantee is the highest quality product and the highest quality service -- and when it comes to things like diamonds, you'll get what you pay for. If you're looking for accountability -- which is sadly an exceedingly rare quality in jewelers these days -- go to Thorpe and Co. They have small-town dedication, service, honesty, and loyalty, as well as the support, selection, and and confidence you expect from a big-name jeweler.



Just as a heads up: make sure you bring some quarters with you to your visit. You will probably need to park at a meter in the street. I didn't even think about this when I went. Fortunately, the bank across the street changed out a $10 bill for me.



Even still, they offer to pay their customers' parking tickets! Find ANY other business of any type that will do that for their customers these days!

It has been many years since I can say I have had people treat you with such respect at a jewelry store. They aren't just sales people that took the ten minute how to upsell a customer class. They are so knowledgable and patient with explaining diamonds. I along with the other person I was with will definitely be back - the Customer Service is impeccable and the selection is superb they treat everyone from the smallest customer with respect.

My fiance is deployed in Afghanistan now, but 3 months ago he wanted to propose and was stationed at NTC in California. My friend had me go to Thorpe and look at rings...I now have the most amazing, sparklie engagement ring in town! I went to a bonfire right after he propoped, 3 girls had got engaged in that past week!! I had the best ring! Joe was amazing and taught us the most about diamonds that I have ever learned!
