Honest company!!! by J Armstrong - 07/23/2009My central air quit working and I tried to figure out what was wrong but I don’t know anything about furnaces or air conditioners. I called to find out how much it would cost to repair it and the gentleman on the phone walked me through the problem over the phone. As it turned out, there was nothing wrong with our air conditioner. They could have come out and charged us hundreds of dollars to fix something that was not broken but instead he was honest with me. I highly recommend this company because honesty is hard to find these days. This is the only company I will ever use from here on out. Thanks for everything.

They are NOT overpriced; the guy who left the negative review who complained of their being overpriced is confused, I believe. The $79 is what they charge for the diagnostic, and I believe that was the case with this gentleman. The $216 was not for the part alone; it was the cost of the part plus the cost to install it, as far as I can tell from his review.
At any rate, what we were charged ($79 for the diagnostic plus $126 for the part and labor) was very reasonable. I expected it to cost at least a little bit more, even in a best-case scenario, so the total was a nice surprise. And the repairman arrived promptly, completed the repair in only an hour and a half, and even installed a new filter and made an adjustment to the roof vent for no additional charge! He was also very courteous and professional, and explained absolutely everything in a way my wife and I could easily understand.

Repaired my furnace for $210 when another company tried to scare me into spending over $700 for the same repair. They're trustworthy and I'll refer them to my friends and family.

Fast, Efficient Service by lsmith - 08/08/2008This summer my air conditioning stopped working on a 100 degree day. We were miserable! The tech from Thompson's Comfort Connection responded on the same day that I called. He was on time, very polite, explained everything he was doing, and was respectful of my home and my family. I really appreciated the quick response, and excellent service!
Great Service & Good Prices by WillyB - 02/04/2008I had another contractor "diagnose" a problem and quoted me over $900 for the repair. These guys quoted me over $350 less over the phone for the same repair and were able to get the job done within 2 hours of my call. I'm a customer for life!

Thompsons Provided and Replaced my 3 Wire Pilot

Like I said they have great service and great communication. The gentelman told me how much it was going to cost me before he did the work and being cold, needing my furnace fixed, I agreed to the price.... I decided to see how much it would have cost me to fix this myself had I told the guy nevermind.....
These guys don't realize we have the internet now, we can research and see what kind of a deal we got...... This is a $70.00 part http://www.allthermalcontrols.com/product51.html (59.99 on ebay) and Thomspons charged me EXACTLY $216.00 for the part plus an additional $79.00 for labor !!!! 295.00 Total !!!!
