The Wild Animal Sanctuary is America's oldest, largest sanctuary for captive exotic, endangered large carnivores that have been abused or illegally kept. Located 30 miles northeast of Denver, we are an exciting place to visit and learn about the plights of animals.

Since 1980, we have been helping exotic animals and species. We have over 160 lions, tigers, bears, leopards, cougars, wolves and more. We rescue animals and place them in our care. Our environment has 320 acres of land, with habitats for different species.

We are dedicated to the safety of large animals, and we want to increase public awareness. We invite you to come check us out to learn more about the problem of cruelty and abandonment to exotic animals.
