yes, the spar has deep fried food of all shapes and sizes. the staff is friendly but the kitchen is slower than a turtle race. i would go to steamers for fish with a view, but the spar does have great beer.

The bar is fun but a bit loud and the kid friendly section is great coloring, blocks and they all serve great food and beer. The only drawback is the family area is small.

there's a cafe section if you have kids w/ books, crayons, etc but you can still get a beer in that section too. the pub part has good atmosphere, good food and beer selection. Fun place to hang out.

Greasy food and great selection of beers. Atmosphere lives up to the name. Wish the family section was bigger as it might not be worth the babysitter.

My daughter & I love the SPAR. Kid friendly (blocks & crayons) and decent food. Breakfast on weekends can be a little crazy tho'

good choice of beers, nice tavern style menu. check for daily specials on thursday night. adjacent coffee bar is kid friendly.

The Spar has been around for what seems like forever and now offers a family side for those under 21. Same good food and beverages, but you can bring your family to the espresso bar/restaurant. I will go again. The service is good, staff are friendly and they have a kids menu. Adults can get adult beverages in the family section. No real complaints, except that the family section fills up fast!
