i'm sorry, but for as much as the dinner is, i'd expect it to be phenominal- i could go home and heat up a bowl of velveeta in the microwave for $5 and it would be about the same.

The food is good, however, the atmosphere is the best part. Plan to take a long time for dinner, and enjoy it. Great place to take friends for a time to catch up. My favorite are the appetizers, vegetables and the desserts. It is pricey, but fun!!!

When you want to spend an evening with the fun experience of cooking your own fondue, that allows a lot of time for conversation ,then go to the Melting Pot. Be aware though, it is a restaurant for special occasions - the meal is 'an experience' it takes a while - and is pricey.

This IS my favorite restaurant! For a wonderful experience plan on at least 2 hours to enjoy the different courses served fondu style.

The food is different, but it is more about the experience. It takes a long time to get through dinner, but if you have the time and pocket book for it (quite pricey) then it is a great time.

This restaraunt not only has excellent food but it is also a fun experience. It is the perfect place for special occasions.

This is a great place to get a meal. The food is satisfying and very delicious. Prices are very reasonable and the service is great! This is one of my favorite places to catch a meal. Enjoy some good dining.

We love fondue. Perhaps it is the food preparation that makes it so pricey, as well as the quality of the ingredients. My complaints are not with the food at all. However, it isn't worth the mortgage, and once the novelty wears off, I will be surprised if there are enough return customers to allow the restaurant to make a go of it.

This was a fun dining experience and remembering our earlier days when we had ur own fondue pot! Much easier and more fun when they provide the food, though!

I love going with friends to the Melting Pot. I have heard from many people that it is a great romantic place to have dinner, but I tend to feel like the enviroment calls for time with great friends. We have been there on numerous occassions and everytime the service is great and the food is wonderful ( and by the way in my opinion you only need to do apps and dessert and you will be completly full) and I always leave with a side ache due to all the laughing that I experience. So I recommend that the next time you visit you the Melting Pot you take some of your best friends and get ready for a good time!!!

This is a great "food experience" restaurant. It's not a place I'd choose to go often but it was great fun and good food. Plan for a long night though - it takes awhile.

If you have some time to savor the experience, try the Melting Pot. The food was incredible although on the expensive side but well worth the experience. They have a great selection on their menus but take an appetite and make sure you have enough time to enjoy the experience. By the way, don't forget to order the desert fondue!!
