We specialize in Custom KIVA Fireplace Screens, Glass Fireplace Doors, Ironworks, and custom details for your homes interior and exterior. Whether you are an interior decorator, designer or home owner, the man of steel will work with you to create the hand forged items you need for your hearth and home.

Enjoy our southwest and contemporary designs, perfect for wall hangings or they can be incorporated into any of our doors, screens or custom iron work.

In addition we offer rust patina finishes as well as any color or texture in powder coatings. All pieces can be finished in flat black, rusted, hammered, natural, or colored.


All of our screens are made with a heavy duty wire mesh (.024) set within solid steel frames, with a range of width from 3/4 inch to 1 1/2 inches. Most of the screens are designed to be free standing so that they don't rest against the face of the fireplace. Kiva fireplace screens are hand bent and curved to custom fit the opening and contour of each fireplace. All of our designs are optional and are not limited to what is shown here on this website: They all can be added to any of our screen selection.

All of the doors are made with tempered glass or screen in solid steel frames and are permanently installed in the fireplace. When building a home, or just adding a new fireplace, the glass door frame is installed just before plastering to achieve a perfect finish. Existing fireplaces can also be retro-fitted and touched up for an excellent finished look. All of our designs are optional and they are not limited to what is shown here on this website. Any of our designs can be incorporated into the glass doors. All of our doors are hand made and carefully fitted to each fireplace's opening.

Fireplace screen doors with removable steel panels are ideal for wood burning fireplaces. The screen doors are designed to keep any embers from flying out of the fireplace when in use, but when the fire is burning out or the fireplace is not in use, we provide steel panels that can be placed behind the screen to prevent heat loss.
Hand cut steel designs are great as wall hangings or they can be incorporated into any fireplace glass door, fireplace screen or custom iron work. Designs are plasma cut by hand from a variety of metals.All of the ironwork is handmade and fabricated at our workshop in Santa Fe, NM. Custom work can be created from a variety of different metals and then finished however the customer may desire.
