Danz was recommended to me by my brother - who has apologized for it ever since. I went to him for help with a Workman's Comp case due to a spider bite, and spent several years in legal limbo & personal agony for my troubles. The one instance that stands out to describe Danz took place when he informed me that I was required to submit to an independent medical exam (a second IME, actually) and travel to Chicago for it from Peoria. My case involved being bitten by a poisonious spider while at work (I was a television producer, and I was bitten at my desk while writing radio PSA's; I was staying overtime, trying to do my job to the best of my ability), but Workman's Comp wanted me to see an AIDS specialist - and Danz told me that if I didn't submit, he'd drop the case. I was forced to go in a tiny car, even though he knew I'd be in pain from the trip; I was personally billed for the office visit (which is now part of my credit history), and not only did Danz not try to get a copy of the medical report, he tried to use that as an excuse to drop my case (and later, used that same tactic of withholding information from me to sabotage me during the trial). Danz refused to subpoena the one doctor who could have confirmed the chain of evidence that would have proven my case; instead, he had that doctor's superior deposed, who confirmed that the other doctor did in fact document causation for my injury after he examined me. Finally, Danz wanted me to settle for a token fee, without asking for medical care, payment of medical bills or compensation for losing my job (and due to my worsening condition due to that injury, it has been difficult to find employment). I've been reduced to near-poverty because of dealing with Warren Danz, and I would only ask now that you do what I did not have the awareness or knowledge to do: avoid this man and his firm at all costs.
