These people are "evil". The worst reviews are 100% accurate.

As with anything in the medical field that involves psychiatry and a total lack of scientific empirical evidence, the goal of such facilities is to line their pockets with money. They will not help you but rather drug you. They are nothing but merely legal authorized drug dealers looking to obtain new customers and permanent addict them to their "treatments". Avoid them. These people are "evil". The worst reviews are 100% accurate.

The Centers in Ocala Florida Needs complete restructuring

by Mary H , 10/10/2013

I had a complete melt down and knew that I needed help. I need to mention that I did receive much needed medication. Other than that I have to say that the centers is in need of a complete overhaul. 1) Way too many paper pushers- a complete waste of time. There's a copy machine available. 2) Intake for me took 7 hours- this is so unacceptable. 3) Filth all around- didn't shower for 2 days because I was scared of contracting a fungus or disease. 4) There was 2 and I'm not exaggerating when I say this 2 out of 50 people that actually took the time to look at me and address any issues I had. My Dr Gabb with his Social Worker I'm unsure of her name. I got to meet with them twice in 2 days for a total of 20 minutes. The other 48 persons were disappointingly rude. I was constantly treated as a problem they just wanted to go away. What a horrible experience to be treated inhumanely. 5) The food, well I have to be honest, I believe that better food could be found in a dumpster. 6) They consider a group therapy session to consist of how to wash your hands properly. Wow,wow, I got a lot out of that session. In my humble opinion the centers need to fire more than half of their employees and hire just half of what was fired with people that can give appropriate care and consideration to the patients that have to come in for help. Pay them a decent wage so that they will want to come to work and value a work ethic. A work ethic of any type is damn sure lacking with all of it's employees. I will be writing letters to all of the Board Directors, Development Advisory Committee Members in hopes of helping resolves the serious issues that are happening at The Centers in Ocala, Florida. It saddens me to no ends that I have to do this however, I feel it needs to be done. I realize that I am one person but this person is going to try to change the unhealthy attitude of the employees that work at The Centers. I will be a patient advocate for all of those that have to go in for treatment. I promise to make a change. Sincerely, Mary Katherine Hicks

The Centers, Bedlam in 2013

Rude, crude, pill mill warehouse. Disgusting employees, no psychiatric help, smelly, filthy, slop for food, imbeciles in charge of records that all kept on paper. "Nurses" who eat in front of patients, underlings who spend their days yelling at patients, no help, no mercy, no kindness. they make any situation worse. No group activities. NO activities except to be yelled at and told to wait. Each simple appointment takes five hours of dealing with lost documents, chasing paper, it goes on and on. Repugnant environment, nasty people.
