Welcome to The Center for Hearing Speech & Language.

CHSL is an organization serving Denver, CO. We provide hearing, vision, speech, and language services for people of all ages, including those unable to pay. CHSL is a highly-established non-profit organization that has been in operation for 90 years, this year. We supply assistance for over 8,000 children, adults and seniors each year through prevention and treatment. We've been providing invaluable services to the people of Denver since 1918, which is not something many other service providers can claim!

While there are other agencies in Denver and Colorado Springs that provide hearing, vision, speech and language services, CHSL is truly unique. Our primary focus as a not-for-profit organization is to provide absolutely first-rate services to our surrounding community. We also financially assist low-income, disabled, at-risk, uninsured and underserved children and adults.

Our KidScreen Program provides screenings to pre-school and school-age children. Our unique organization combines fundraising methods with fee-for-service income-generating strategies, commonly called Social Enterprise Fees. With these, potential unforeseen disruptions in earned income and/or philanthropic funding streams have less chance of negatively impacting the delivery of quality healthcare services. CHSL's Hearing Aid Bank is a special fund that helps low-income clients pay for hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
