TERROS at McDowell

by Hopeless No More , 09/14/2011

I was having problems coping with not finding a job, a place to live to the point that there were some really bad days for me. I heard about this place, TERROS . What a God send...The first day, I was a walk-in, (no appointment), talked to a Counselor, they had set up a support group for me to go to, phone numbers for places for me to stay, and an appointment for medication to help me get thorough it all. The alternative for me before I walked in there wasn't good. In fact, I give them credit that I'm still here today, honest to God. They truly care about people, any kind of people. Their service to me was thorough and they took time with me until I was completely taken care of. Sometimes you have to wait for your appt. but it's really worth the wait. I was treated with respect and consideration. I have hope and my dignity back.

Call me crazy?

by LaddyGAGAAA , 07/01/2011

I went to my appointment and the lady was very rude and quite frankly not listening to anything I said to her. Insulted me on many levels and even told me I was delusional about my life. She told me I was depressed after I told her that I am a happy person. I had a great few conversations with several other people there and they were very nice and supportive. But the RN I saw was very unkind and rude. I walked in feeling great and left in tears she was just awful.

A really great organization

This is such a wonderful organization. They make you feel, okay and really, when you at their offices, its because you aren't okay or need some help. They do it.
