Tapp The Sun is a family-owned tanning salon on its 3rd year of ownership. Tapp The Sun and its employee’s pride themselves on the salons cleanliness and its high standards of providing each client with the knowledge to tan smart. Tanning has taken some bad press in previous years, but physicians are starting to figure out tanning does have an upside. The body produces Vitamin D, also called the “sunshine vitamin”, when it is subjected to UV light. Vitamin D has been linked to actually aid in the prevention in some of our most deadly cancers like breast, colon and prostate cancer as well as osteoporosis. Tapp The Sun employees are educated by Smart Tan and are very knowledgeable in tanning and tanning lotions.

Tapp The Sun has two entry level low-pressure beds for a relaxing 15 minute tan time. 7 medium pressure beds, 2 standup booths and 5 lay down beds that offer a quicker, more natural tan with about half the time it would take in the low pressure. Tapp The Sun is also proud to have the area's only high-pressure beds, the Ultrabronze and the UV Scan, these beds will give you a noticeable color increase in just a single session without the reddening or the drying that a conventional bed will give you. At Tapp The Sun we have a total of 11 tanning units for you to choose from. Don’t sit around waiting for another salon to finally get a bed clean or an appointment to come open.
