Great experience

Tanque Verde is a real gem. We had a wonderful time bringing guests from out of town. They got to enjoy horseback riding, hiking, great food, and wonderful amenities. This is a 5 star resort, pricey but worth it if you love to horse back ride. As far as horse abuse, the horses were well taken care of, well fed, and I did not see any horse abuse.

Animal Abuse

Tanque Verde Guest Ranch abuses their horses. They cram 100s of the horses in a cramed corral with no shelter. Yesterday their hair was frozen to their backs. They have eye infections from the flies and stand for days in knee deep feces. They can't turn around or lay down or move. My guess is their legs fall asleep untill they fall down and die. What a horrible place to do that to beautiful animals.
