This place is really delicious!!

Tamjima is one of the best Japanese restaurant and Ramen shops in San Diego in my opinion. I can confidently say that I have tried most of the ramen shops I can try whenever I come here on business. When I left Japan after a five year stay, it was like an endless quest for a good ramen shop and restaurant. Unfortunately, here in the states, many restaurants that call themselves authentic are very far from it. You know the drill...Kanji writing that makes no sense, Korean owned general asian food. When I found Tajima, I ended up getting three of the things I missed for one price, very unexpectedly; a great ramen shop Japanese restaurant and an izakaya in one! The atmosphere, the food, the sake.....everything was great! Not to mention, Marukai markets are right down the street. If you love Japanese food, of just want a tase of their culture, do not pass go in San Diego without stopping at Tajima. (=
