When eating at Tad's we always feel like we are "home". The servers are friendly and competent, the food delicious.

Having never really been into fried foods, I was suprised to have found a special place in my heart for Tad's. The food is homey and makes you feel good, what more could you ask for? Usually have to wait but it is well worth the wait.

If you have never been here it's worth the trip! It's a bit of a long drive & you would not suspect how good the place is when pull up to it. But the chicken & dumplings are awesome and the rest of their food is very good as well. Nice view of the river too!

You'll look over your shoulder for your mom, even if she's been gone for years like mine! This is a reminder of old school cooking and values, and it will leave you with a warm and fuzzy (and full!) feeling.

WE HAVE BEEN TO THIS RESTURANT MANY TIMES AND THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT. THE ONLY THING IS WAITING TO GET A TABLE. THAT MEANS IT IS GOOD, BUT WE WISH THERE WERE MORE ROOM OR TABLES.

Homestyle food done well. Not gourmet, but solid well prepared and tasty. Friendly wait staff. My first exeperience with a family that has been going for over 10 years. Get the signature chicken 'n dumplins!

This is a relaxing restraunt next to the Sandy River. It is near Troutdale, Oregon and not far from I 84. The atmosphere is quiet and secluded in the trees, with a view of the river. When it gets very busy, then it no longer is quiet but it is in a beautiful setting. Good food with a great variety. Good staff who are friendly and efficient. And it has been featured in a movie or two.

Sitting at one of the window seats is the best! They have an awesome view, but when it's dark you can't see much, so it's best to eat there at 5pm or in the summer time. I can't say the food was spectacular, even their Chicken N Dumplins, but it's certainly worth going to.

Don't look for anything fancy, this isn't the "Pearl". Chicken & Dumplings better than most moms can make. Expect to wait if your not there early.

I have been eating at Tads for over 30 years. It's always delightfully scrumptious. If you have never tried the Salmon appetizer your missing something devine. There is an item for everyone on the menue. Try this place, you'll be glad you did. I always take anyone from out of town to Tad's while they are staying with me.
