Awesome by jklsisneros - 10/17/2007We love the Tacoma Public Library system. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We always borrow movies from the library for free rather than having to always rent them from the store.

Friendly librarians by Kari - 09/21/2007The ladies at check-out are delightful and chatty or discreet about your materials, depending on your personality and the nature of your media. While Wheelock is just a neighborhood branch, we find the online reserve system (topcat.tacomapubliclibrary.org) quite handy to have our items delivered there. A typical request is filled within 3 days when coming from another branch (overnight when from Wheelock). Library cards are free to Tacoma residents and some reciprocal library card holders. Note that fiction DVDs are not reservable.
Love the Public Library by AS - 09/19/2007We enjoy the Public library system for all the resources it offers to kids and adults. We look forward to friday night movie night and always pick up an interesting flick at the library.
