Close to Home, Not Awful by skandrews - 10/28/2007
I love burritos and this place is close to home, so I have eaten here a lot. However, I think there's an accoustics issue in their space because the employees can never hear me, and I can never hear them. The owner is extremely amiable, and I really like getting chips with my burrito, which never happened at the other Taco Del Mar I used to frequent on MLK.

Great food and the service is wonderful. I started coming here when they first opened...and was taken care of by the owner herself....she was great. Friendly, and always remembered me when I came in. I'm disappointed that I don't get to see her much anymore, she's been so successful that she doesn't need to be there every minute that they are open. She has a well trained staff. The restaurant is very very clean and wonderful.
