My family and I stopped by for a late lunch after cutting down our Christmas tree. Their burgers are charbroiled and juicy. I recommend the jalapeño/Ortega chili was the best I have had. Also try it with a homemade onion bun and get the garlic fries. I like the sweet potato garlic fries

True service can be slow at times, but you want quick go across the street. The best and biggest breakfast around. Not to mention all the other fine food that is offered. I never found anyone to be rude. Only friendly folks. Rudeness only brings what is deserved.

didnt get right order,didnt have time to wait to replace,no compensation

We have had nothing but exceptional service and food everytime we have vistied TJ's. The servers are always in a pleasant mood and have smiles on their faces. For anybody who has not been there, you really need to try it out!!

This restaurant is visible from the highway (I-80) and I highly recommend it for breakfast. I have heard it is very good for the other meals as well, especially their steaks but have not experienced that personally. Their menu for breakfast is comprehensive and service is very good. I base this on two visits to TJ's.

IF YOU WANT TO BE DISRESPECTED THEN THIS IS TE PLACE TO GO. TRUE THE WAITRESS MIGHT HAVE HAD A LOT ON HER PLATE BEING THE ONLY ONE SERVING THE FEW CUSTOMERS IN THE JOINT, BUT THERE IS NO EXCUSS FOR THE OWNER. WE SIMPLY WANTED OUR PANCAKES HOT. I ASKED THEM TO BE HELD UNTIL THE END OF THE OF MEAL. THEY WENT AHEAD AND MADE THEM ANYWAY AND EXPECTED ME TO BE THRILLED ABOUT THEM BEING UNDER A HEAT LAMP. I AM THE ONE PAYING RIGHT? THE WAITRESS WALKED AWAY DURING ME SPEAKING MULTIPLE TIMES AND TOOK QUITE SOME TIME TO RETURN WITH MORE COFFEE. THE MNAGER OR OWNER WAS RUDE AND HAD NO INTEREST IN MAKING MY EXPERIENCE A GOOD ONE. AFTER ARGUING WITH ME, SHE ASKED US TO NEVER RETURN. THIS IS ALL OVER PANCAKES AND THEIR INABILITY TO POUR THE BATTER WHEN I HAD SO EVER POLITELY ASKED. GOOD LUK TO ALL THAT DECIDE TO EAT THERE.
