This place is amazing. With the new renovations it is absolutely beautiful. I have never met such a compassionate caring staff. Everyone there goes above and beyond to make sure the residents are happy and have all their needs taken care of. If I could give this place 10 stars it wouldn't be enough. Thank you Sycamore Village for taking such good care of our loved ones!
In the business of saving Alzheimer's patients

I can't say enough about the people that saved my aunt's life. My aunt was living a horror story and didn't even know it. I intervened and found Sycamore Village as a last resort. After fighting red tape, I finally got her there with their help. I then took her to Barnes Hospital and was told we saved her life and that she survived at all was a miracle. They commended me and Sycamore Village for their unique approach. This is where every Alzheimer patient should be - with a loving staff and care.
Wow, what a GREAT place.....

Wow, what a GREAT place. I was nervous at first when I had to move my mom into an assisted living facility, but was so pleasantly surprised by what I found here. Seems that there is new ownership at the building and they have brought some great new ideas and Life to the program. Staff has been attentive and although the food may not be gourmet, it sure makes my mom happy. I would certainly recommend to a friend.
I wouldn't send an enemy into this place.

This.. place...is...HELL. It stinks, is overcrowded, and understaffed. The food tastes disgusting and I know for a fact that they serve old food that has caused sickness in residents. I know someone who worked there- they throw leftovers in the pot for the next day's soup! The CNA's are inattentive and always yelling- verbal abuse against elderly. Management doesn't even know residents' names because THEY DON'T CARE. All they want is money. This should be classified a nursing home, not assisted living- and an AWFUL nursing home at that. They deserve to be put out of business. CNA's let residents sit around in soaked clothes and most are starving because the food is so bad! No one cares to make sure that they eat their food- if it's not done by the time the staff wants them to be done, it's taken away. There is a crazy activity girl who goes into rooms with male residents and does god only knows what with them. There is NO respect for residents, NO educated people working here.
Sycamore Village's Memory Loss Care

I was so happy I found Sycamore. I did not think I could handle caring for my Mom's Alzheimer's much longer but I worried that I would have to put her in a nursing home. Thank God I found Sycamore - who knew that an assisted living facility could care for someone with so many needs. They show her the same love, compassion and respect that I do. Finding Sycamore was truly a blessing.
