My favorite process server

As an attorney in family law, I have a lot of documents served on a lot of people. Tom and his team have always done an excellent job. They try harder than most others I've tried. They are willing to go early or late or on weekends, they are willing to try multiple times, they are willing to do some basic checking to try to find ways to target their efforts. They have been my go-to servers for several years now. They are always very professional, they are timely, and they are very knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone.

sweepstakes unlimited

It's an employment scam. You work for free 90% of the time and are told things will get better by the time you're broke and they have made plenty off of you. Also they directly encourage you to lie to people about what service of process you have or worse.

INCREDIBLY FAST, AND PROFESSIONAL.

These guys got my serve done the next day, even though they said it would take longer. Every time i spoke to someone there, they seemed to be very informative about the process and what should happen next. I would definitely use them again if i needed it.

It does not matter if you are the husband or not. You are a cohabitant of the residence and are perfectly able to accept service for that woman. If she ignores the summons a summary judgment can be handed down to the respondent in that case. The process serving company should have known this too.

Improper Service of Process

My girlfriend was served papers by Sweep Stakes twice in the past two years. The first time, the server handed them to her then roommate (who was not her husband) and claimed that he was her husband on the return of service, even though he would never say that. The second time, the server handed them to me (who is not her husband) and claimed that I was her husband on the return of service, even though I responded simply "I'm the guy who lives here" when the server asked who I was. I made no claim to kinship and the server lied on the return of service.

They don't seem to listen

They have contempt for the paying customer and insult you when you ask about your case. My boyfriend was trying to serve his ex-business partner and had all the information but they never gave the information to the one actually doing the service. There is no real communication at this company and when my boyfriend questioned why there was still no service three weeks later they said it was his fault.I thought when you pay someone they work for you but not at this company. They are really bullies and no one should ever get involved with them unless you like paying someone to insult you for their incompetence.

Employees are easily replaced resources to be exploited

If you need a process server you could do worse. Tom does not allow bad service and he wants the serves videotaped. Your document will probably be served correctly. However, there is a high probability the server will be inexperienced and will no longer be working for Tom should the case go to court. See, there is like a 90% turnover rate at Sweep Stakes because the servers are not getting paid.Oh sure, he'll pay you for your serves, but AT LEAST 80% of your papers are bad addresses for which he does not pay. You do not even get paid a dollar for these. Nor do you get paid for the HOURS of paperwork required and 8 hours every week you need to be in his office. Plus you are expected to buy a spy camera to videotape every serve. With all the hours and expenses factored in, you could make more money at a part time minimum wage job than working full time there. Plus one of his managers seems to be involved in some shady stuff Tom may not be aware of. Not cool at all.

Low Pay, and Bad Ethics

Not only do you get paid $12.00 a paper, you have tons of bad address papers that I know Tom Mills is getting paid on and just dont want to share anything with the servers not even a $2.50 effort amount. Than Tom Mills teaches the servers how to pick locks, and all sorts of ways to break the laws to get papers served... Tom Mills is making a killing from his collection companies and does not know one thing about retaining his servers thats why he's have a dumb siminar every month to get 20-30 servers in.. TOM if you pay what people deserve and run an honest and upbeat business you might keep your servers.

Exploiting the System and wasting people's time

This is a business that is built on those unfortunate enough to end up in the courts and/or judicial system. Tom and his minions are bottom feeders who get paid between 60 and 150 per service. They have exploited the system as well as people desperate for work. The average day for a "worker" is about $40 if they work hard. That $40 does not go far when you consider the cost for the amount of gas, insurance, and headache of dead end addresses. They know its a con and turn over nearly 90% of those who waste thier time trying to earn an honest living. Oh, did I mention that this job is high risk to one's personal safety?

HORRIBLE PLACE TO WORK!!

AWFUL PEOPLE TO WORK FOR. WAY UNDERPAID, GIVES YOU STACKS OF PAPERS TO SERVE, BUT YOU ONLY GET PAID FOR THE SUCCESSFUL SERVES AND MORE THAT HALF ARE BAD ADDRESSES. YOU CAN BET TOM THE OWNER IS MAKING BANK, AND HIS LITTLE MONKEY SLAVE STEVE MIGHT BE ALSO, BUT YOU CERTAINLY WONT. NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO WORK FOR. DONT DO IT.
