Sunset Middle School enrolls more than 600 students in grades six through eight. The school is a part of the St. Vrain Valley School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Its general academic curriculum includes subjects, such as mathematics, science, social studies and language arts. Sunset Middle School also conducts classes in Spanish, art, vocal music, orchestra, and computer and physical education. It provides the English as a Second Language program. Sunset Middle School employs a team of counselors that provides guidance counseling services. It also provides special education for students with special needs. Sunset Middle School is located in Longmont, Colo.
