Replace your new parts for twice the cost... by Krem - 09/18/2009After having a flawless Oil Change at Jiffy Lube, I was told my tires are bare and alignment could be cause. Got tires replaced, Discount Tires referred me to Sun Auto.. All I needed was alignment and brakes. They come back with jobs for missing fan shroud, which was removed intentionally, coolant needs flushed when it was flushed < 2 months ago, coolant hoses should be replaced, when they're still firm. Serpentine belts were going, but they're still 1/4" thick and enough treat to loose a good portion of a dime in. Even told me I had split Oil Pan gasket (which wasn't a problem hours earlier at Jiffy Lube) and wanted $480 in labor alone for just that job. Brakes came out to be $703.xx (parts & labor) and got them done elsewhere for < $300. They wanted to put all new suspension in just to align it "right the first time". Now, 4 days later, my car won't run past 200rpm idle. Either fuel system or timing... I'm suspecting sabotage on their part. hate these guys, I'll try Mark Rives next.

terrible place by furious consumer - 03/24/2009this place will rip you off and make up lies to explain their own crappy work. I had a new remanufactured transmission put in by them and only 3 months later my suv started making the same exact noises and rough shifting as it did when I first brought it in. they tried to tell me that someone was trying to "sabotage" me and had unscrewed a part in my oil gasket. However, I hadn't taken my car anywhere else since they last worked on it so I said if anything then it was them who did it. THEN the mechanic from their transmission shop called me to tell me what they were going to fix on the trans and proceeded to tell me that the transmission wasn't a remanufactured one, (which I had paid for) but my ORIGINAL one that they had just tried to fix previously when I first took it in. I immediately called the sun auto on west tropicana and he told me that the mechanic was an idiot and didn't know what he was talking about. I just picked up my car this morning and it's running like shit. I'm abou
