YUM YUM! by ALocalFoCoRes - 11/06/2009
This place ROCKS! They have such a friendly staff who is always willing to go above and beyond to please your appetite! I just love sitting by the sushi bar and having a great conversation or in the evenings back in one of the tea rooms. They have many different atmospheres and the food is outstanding. Constantly creating new and fresh rolls- I have never had such great sushi I crave this place! I bring everyone who visits here- even if they don't like sushi, cause there is something on that menu you will love.

Best Sushi Ever by sushilover - 10/11/2009
I've been going to Suehiro's for a year now and its the best sushi and best staff. I'm thrilled they are opening a new location on the Harmony corridor. It won't keep me from going to the original one in Old town as I really like the staff.Great job everyone, keep up the great work!

Worse sushi I have ever eaten by wow - 09/19/2009
Our experience was absolutely aweful. I have eaten at many sushi restaurants in Colorado, from little 'Mom and Pop' to 5 star restaurants. The cost was very high for the quality of sushi, for some reason every kind had the same flavor (which may indicate MSG because it actually numbs your taste buds so you cannot taste the flavor), the pieces were mushi because of the rice and fell apart, and I was sick for 5 days afterwards. I returned to the restaurant when I was well again, and to my astonishment they prepare all their food with latex gloves! Not expecting to see this in the mornings when they cut all the produce, I questioned them about this practice. The owner's response was that is how all quality food prep is done, especially sushi. Well, my mother runs her own catering/cafe business and this is not true, her comment to this was "They may have had a health inspection violation". When I saw them prepare with latex gloves, I figured out why I had gotten so sick... I have always

so not a fan... by AK Amber - 07/06/2009
I know that a lot of people like this place, but I wonder if it is due to the lack of options here in FC. I keep trying to give this place a chance because, like I said, my options are limited and I keep hoping that I just had a few bad experiences and that they were exceptions, not the rule. However, I've been disappointed every time. First off, sushi is an art form. It takes years to perfect. When I walk into a sushi restaurant and see that it is run by college kids, it is a bit off-putting. The rice that they make the sushi with is disgusting. It really is. Unappetizing mush. I'm not going to comment on the freshness of the fish, because really, there's no such thing unless you go really high-end. All fish comes frozen, that's expected. It's the technique here that leaves a lot to be desired. I know people who've worked here. After seeing how the fish was stored, they refused to eat here. Scary.

good service but under average food quality by mshang - 06/07/2009
our waitress was great but the food was not presentable. i'm talking about broken pieces of sushi. the freshness was ok, but how can a sushi restaurant put out a piece of sushi that was almost torn in 2 pieces? eating japaness food is always about fresh ingredients and well presentation. I will not come back to this restaurant for a long time. we've been in Ft collins for 10 years, eating out a lot. sad to see this used to be my favorite place going south on their food quality.

Nice dinning experience by Mountainma - 04/20/2009
Have never been dissappointed in all the years I have been going there. Always a pleasant experience, with good food and service.

you have the option to sit in the tea room, which I enjoy. I recomend the Jeff role or the Chris role - unique to this place. The soup is good as is the cucumber salad.
