WOW! by Sam - 08/29/2009WOW!!! Ok, So I have been driving by this salon on my way to and from work everyday for the last 10 months and last week I finally decided to stop in and make an appointment. At first I was overwhelmed by how different it was from the salon I had been going to. I am in my late, late 30's : ), so its hard to find a salon that can give me a current but still age appropriate hairstyle. After booking my appointment I felt 100% better, they made me feel right at home. Now on to the service!! I just had my hair cut this time (going back for color soon), but it was the best cut I have ever had and that wasnt even my favorite part. When I first arrived I was given a fun little menu of different treatments for my hair and told that I would be receiving one free with my cut. This was the best part, after I picked a treatment they whisked me off to this relaxation room in the back to wash my hair! My stylist (shelly) used the treatment I picked and gave me a hot towel head massage!!!! It was abso
Studio Be is an amazing getaway! by Layla - 06/18/2009Studio Be is an amazing getaway. They make you feel pampered and special every time you go. The wash room is relaxing and quiet, the decor is hip and modern and I always leave there feeling like a million bucks. While this is all true, Shelly is the real reason I love this salon. I first started going to her after a major hair disaster. I had gotten a terrible choppy short haircut from a stylist who just didn't get what I was trying for. I was frustrated and refused to let anyone touch it as it grew out. I'm really anal about my hair and spent about a year slowly trimming the bottom as it grew out. By the time I went to see Shelly it was an awful choppy shoulder length mess. She sat me down and talked to me about what I wanted to do and we came up with a plan for my hair. I left the salon with a gorgeous new cut, amazing color and a much happier disposition!
