While Stone and Law market themselves well and put on a good front they are a bit wet behind the ears when it comes to criminal law. One thing I learned through the process is to ensure the plea bargain is agreed to by all parties and that INCLUDES the judge! Get it all in writing. Harold was often late, never requested to see judge in chambers, nor did he ever meet with the prosecutor and judge at the same time to review the plea. In fact, he sent some new associate to the change of plea hearing and "coached" him over the phone. When they say two attorneys will be present at all 'big' court dates - get it in writing. Exactly which ones two attorneys will be present at and exactly what their roles will be -not just that they are physically present. It seemed that Harold was always running late. And Greg is often out of town on a case. Good Marketing Skills... not much for the law as far as I can see. They seem overextended and expensive! Shop around, do your homework first.
